Launched in August 2010, Sino-Gist is an (almost daily) blog dedicated to analysing current affairs in People's Republic of China. In addition, the site covers elements of the PRC's history: to read a series of posts on selected quotations from Mao's 'Little Red Book', please follow these links for part 1, part 2 and part 3. Sino-Gist also occasionally dabbles in North Korean affairs.
Comments on posts are most welcome and encouraged! If you have any general queries or suggestions, please email sinogistATgmail.com, replacing 'AT' with '@'.
Please note: Sino-Gist uses the Pinyin system of romanisation for Chinese names, except where the Wade-Giles equivalent is the most well-known (e.g Chiang Kai-shek).
